From Biddeford Pool, Maine� a snow capped Mt. Washington in New Hampshire shows up nicely in the late afternoon sun on a clear December day from the nature trail at East Point in Biddeford Pool, Maine nearly 90 miles away. In the center foreground is Ram Island which was recently donated to the University of New England to be used by the Marine Sciences programs for research and education. Just beyond the island on the mainland is Kinney Shores and Ocean Park. A couple miles inland, to the left of Mt. Washington the tower of Funtown USA�s amusement ride Dragon�s Descent can be seen. The tall tower over to the right I believe is WMTW�s television tower in Baldwin, Maine. December 20, 2015 � Biddeford Pool, Maine, USA, Earth. Pentax K-3, Pentax 50-200 mm lens at 200 mm and cropped, processed in Adobe Lightroom.
