Tale of Two Lighthouses - Cape Neddick Light also known as Nubble Lighthouse, on a cloudy January 30, 2016. Built in 1879 on Nubble Island at Cape Neddick, York, Maine, USA, Earth. If you look very close you can see a second lighthouse barely visible to the right on the horizon which is Boon Island Light located 22 miles offshore and stands 133 feet high. Built in 1855 as it stands today is the tallest lighthouse in Maine and New Hampshire.
